Radek Faksa Future With Stars Unclear
Rumour: The Daily Faceoff’s Mike McKenna took a look at what the Stars may do in the off-season to remain a contender. McKenna said Dallas might have some tough decisions to make. The Stars would love to re-sign some players like Max Domi and Evgeni Dadonov, who they got at the trade deadline. However, cap space is limited and general manager Jim Nill has some contracts weighing him down.
What can the #TexasHockey do to improve next season after falling short in the Western Conference Final?
Low on cap space, they may have to get very creative, writes @MikeMcKenna56:https://t.co/mps6RssikW

McKenna said that one of the contracts Nill may try to move is that of Faksa. The 29-year-old has two more seasons at $3.25 million for a cap hit. That contract may be easier to move than some of the higher-end deals like that of Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin.
Is Radek Faksa Future with Stars?
The Stars made great strides this season, but have work to do. Faksa may be the victim of Nill handing out untradeable contracts to other players. Stars like Benn and Seguin have to produce to justify their large contracts.
The salary cap may only go up a little bit and Dallas needs to maximize that. Having no state income tax in Texas does help, but money can only go so far. Faksa may be squeezed out because his cap hit is manageable.
