NHL Predictions
Nashville Predators vs Philadelphia Flyers
Head-to-Head: Predators 0-1 Flyers
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
TV: Fan Duel Sports South; NBC Sports Philadelphia; ESPN+
We open up NHL predictions with the Nashville Predators visiting the Philadelphia Flyers. Nashville is expected to start Juuse Saros in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Predators are 3-6-1 in the last 10 games and that includes two straight losses. Filip Forsberg has been a bright spot this season with 28 goals and 39 assists for Nashville.
Samuel Ersson is the projected starter for the Flyers, who are also 3-6-1 in the last 10 games. However, Philadelphia has won its last two games after the firing of John Tortorella. The team has seemingly played better under interim boss Brad Shaw. Owen Tippett has tallied 20 goals and 19 assists for the Flyers.
Both teams are playing out the string, but Philadelphia picks up the win.
Prediction: Flyers win 4-2.
Minnesota Wild vs New Jersey Devils
Head-to-Head: Wild 0-1 Devils
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
TV: MSGSN; Fan Duel Sports North; Fan Duel Sports Wisconsin; ESPN+
We go to our featured game for our next game of NHL predictions. Filip Gustavsson is the probable starter for the Wild, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, Minnesota has lost its last game prior to this matchup. The Wild has struggled to score as of late with only 2.2 goals per game in the last 10 games. Matt Boldy has 24 goals and 38 assists for Minnesota.
Jacob Markstrom is the likely starter for the Devils, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, New Jersey did get a win in its last time out. Injuries have hurt the Devils in the latter part of the season. Stefan Noesen has delivered 20 goals with 18 assists for New Jersey.
Both teams have been dealing with injuries in the second half. However, New Jersey has just a little more scoring punch.
Prediction: Devils win 3-2.
Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken
Head-to-Head: Stars 2-0 Kraken
Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
TV: KHN; KONG; Victory; ESPN+
Our last game of NHL predictions has the Dallas Stars looking for the season-sweep against the Seattle Kraken. The Stars are likely to start Jake Oettinger in goal for this game. Dallas is winners of five straight and are 7-1-2 in the last 10 games prior to this second game at Climate Pledge Arena in three days. Roope Hintz has been playing well since his return to the lineup with two goals and 10 assists over the past 10 games.
Joey Daccord is the probable starter for the Kraken, who are 4-4-2 in the last 10 games. Seattle has been eliminated from Stanley Cup Playoff contention, but aren’t laying down despite this. Jared McCann has totaled 18 goals with 34 assists for the Kraken.
Dallas is playing well and will get the oddly-scheduled two-game series.
Prediction: Stars win 5-2.
Prop Bets of the Night
We round of NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our props. The over/under is at 5.5 and we think the under seems like a strong play. For Minnesota, go with Frederick Gaudreau to get a point in this one. On the New Jersey side, go with Nico Hischier to tally a goal.
