Look at these numbers
There has been so much talk that the Las Vegas Raiders could draft Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 overall pick in the April 24-26 draft.
He is a popular mock favorite of the Raiders, a betting favorite and new Las Vegas general manager John Spytek attended his pro day in Boise.
So, it’s a real possibility that Jeanty ends up wearing the Silver and Black. Still, some people aren’t in favor of taking a running back so high.
I get the sentiment, but Jeanty is a special player and he could be a major difference maker for an offense that needs an impact running back.
Look at this recent tweet by Pro Football Focus on how Jeanty’s stats stack up historically:
Ashton Jeanty career ranks in PFF College History:
– 99.9 rushing grade (1st)
– 284 missed tackles forced (1st)
– 3,557 yards after contact (2nd) pic.twitter.com/2SUwdBPivE— PFF (@PFF) April 3, 2025
See, the guy is special. Take him.
