Brock Bowers isn’t the only Georgia pass-catching rookie star
Las Vegas Raiders’ star rookie tight end Brock Bowers has been brilliant this season and he had broken one major NFL record after another.
Yet, Bowers isn’t the only former Georgia Bulldogs’ star who is making a difference in the NFL as a pass-catcher this season. His college teammate, wide receiver Ladd McConkey, is also tearing up the league.
Ladd McConkey vs the Patriots:

⚡️ 8 receptions
⚡️ 94 receiving yards
⚡️ 2 TDs

Bowers and the Raiders, of course, will see McConkey this weekend as they finish the regular season.
McConkey, drafted in the second round (No. 34) had 77 catches for 1,054 yards and seven touchdowns for the playoff-bound Chargers. McConkey had five catches for 39 yards and a score in a Chargers’ Week 1 win over the Raiders.
It will be fun to see how Bowers and McConkey end the regular season.
