
It’s been three decades since Raiders have drafted a gold jacket man
The goal of every NFL front office and scouting department every draft season to select a future Pro Football Hall of Famer.
Of course, it’s extremely difficult and rare, but that’s the goal.
The Las Vegas Raiders are due. Via Pickinem, there is a list of the last time every NFL team has drafted a player who became a Hall of Famer. The Raiders were last so fortunate to call the name of a future member of the exclusive Canton, Ohio museum was in 1998, of course, when they drafted Michigan’s Charles Woodson.

Perhaps defensive end Maxx Crosby (2019) and tight end Brock Bowers (2024) will join someday join Woodson is Canton. Now, it’s time for the Raiders’ front office to work on adding to this list next month.
