What an early quarterback run would do to Raiders
There has much so much talk in this year’s early draft season that it may be a weak quarterback class at the top and it could affect the Las Vegas Raiders’ draft plans.
Going into this offseason, the Raider’s ideal plan would have been to draft a quarterback with the No. 6 overall pick. But if there are no worthy quarterbacks available then, that could end that scenario.
And most draft experts fell that way.
Davis has quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart all going in the top three picks.
Wow, what that shake up the top of the draft. It would also make an interesting scenario for the Raiders. It would knock down some top players and in Davis’ mock, it would allow Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham fall to the Raiders at No. 6.
Man, would that be value. He’s a top talent and would he ever look good with Maxx Corsby and Christian Wilkins on the defensive line.
Las Vegas general manager John Spytek — A Michigan man himself — would surely love it as he wants to build in the trenches.
Is this possible? We’ll see, but it’d be wild.
