Team hope that luck changes in 2025
After having relative good fortune when it came to injuries for a few seasons, the injury bug hit the Las Vegas Raiders hard and repeatedly in the 2024 season.
Las Vegas suffered several major and long-lasting injuries and to key plays. The result is the franchise lost among the most games played by salary in the NFL last season.
According to a recent study by SportsCasting.com, Las Vegas played injured players at the third highest rate in the NFL last season.
Star defensive linemen Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins (who were both highly paid last season) were among the many Las Vegas Raiders’ players who missed several games due to injury.
As they begin the Pete Carroll era, the Raiders hope to keep their highly-paid players on the field in 2025 as much as possible.
