Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis spoke at the this year’s owner meeting and said this is favorite time of the year.
The Las Vegas Raiders owner, Mark Davis, made sweeping changes to the team this offseason. He sent Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco packing after a disappointing 4-13 season. Davis brought Tom Brady to help rebuild the football team and hired John Spytek and Pete Carroll to take the team to the next level.
Davis spoke at the recent owners’ meeting about the franchise’s future. Via The Athletic, he shared that this is his favorite time of the season because the team is undefeated.
“I say it every year, this is my favorite time — we are undefeated.”
The Raiders owner is optimistic but realistic about the 2025 season. While he expects improvement on the football field, he expects more from the Silver and Black in year two.
“You always want to compete, but you have to be honest,” Davis said. “Are we going to win the Super Bowl this year? I don’t know … it’s possible.”
Expectations for the Raiders, with their win total at 5.5 for the season, will be low. Hopefully, the Raiders can shock their owner and put together a surprising year to the delight of their fanbase.
