Kansas City’s quarterback has never lost on the road to Raiders
Well, maybe next year.
Yes, Patrick Mahomes road dominance against the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders continues after a 31-17 Kansas City Chiefs victory at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Mahomes is now 6-0 against the Raiders on the road since he became the Chiefs’ starting quarterback in 2018.
His road success against the Raiders has reached historic proportions as this tweet from the Associated Press shows:
Patrick Mahomes improved to 6-0 on the road vs #Raiders. The only QBs to win more road starts against an opponent without a loss:
Joe Montana 9-0 vs Rams
Joe Montana 9-0 vs Saints
Roger Staubach 8-0 vs Giants— Josh Dubow (@JoshDubowAP) November 27, 2023
Mahomes, who was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance Sunday in Las Vegas, was 2-0 in Oakland and is 4-0 at Allegiant Stadium. The Chiefs have outscored the Raiders by a total score of 208-118 in those six games.
Overall, Mahomes is 10-1 against the Raiders with the one blemish coming at Arrowhead Stadium in 2020. The two teams meet there on December 25. Let’s see how that one goes.
