Forbes says Raiders are now worth $3.4 billion
The Las Vegas Raiders just get more valuable.
The team has yet to play a single down in front of any paying fans at the beautiful, new Allegiant Stadium, yet the value of the franchise continues to rise.
In a new valuation piece on all 32 NFL teams, Forbes estimates the Raiders are now worth $3.4 billion and are the 16th most valuable franchise in the NFL. In a valuation conducted in May, Forbes valued the Raiders at $3.1 billion.
That’s a pretty nice investment for Raiders’ owner Mark Davis, I’d say.
This simply reinforces the importance of the Raiders’ move to Las Vegas and into a new stadium. While they were in Oakland, Forbes routinely ranked the Raiders among the least valuable (and often the least valuable) teams in the NFL.
Now, the Raiders are real financial forces and it will only help the team moving forward. Here are the most valuable NFL franchises, according to Forbes:
NFL’s most valuable teams 2021 top5: 1. Cowboys ($6.5b), 2. Patriots ($5b), 3. Giants ($4.85b), 4. Rams ($4.8b), 5. WFT ($4.2b). https://t.co/SDFPiAAUlc
