Raiders’ wide receiver among league leaders in 1st downs
Sometimes ,its fun to point out how awesome some players are.
Davante Adams is one of those players and today is one of those days.
A recent tweet by NFL analyst Dov Kleiman showed just how dominant the Las Vegas Raiders’ superstar wide receiver has been. According to Kleiman, Adams has made catches for that resulted in first down a total of 208 times during the past three seasons. It’s the second highest rate in the NFL behind Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, who Kleiman reports has 235 catches for first downs spanning the 2021-23 seasons with the Chiefs and Dolphins.

That three-season stretch, of course, spans one season with his original team, The Green Bay Packers, and the past two coming with the Raiders after his blockbuster trade to Las Vegas in March, 2022.
It’s just another reminder that Adams has been terrific as a Raider. Let that help you have a great Tuesday.
