New general manager’s former team had a type in early rounds
Could the Las Vegas Raisers take an offensive lineman in the first two drafts of the upcoming NFL draft?
If history is any indication, the possibility could be very high
According to Pro Football Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers used a top 60-pick in the past three years (including taking Graham Barton in the first round in 2024) and in four of the past five years. Spytek was a key part of the Buccaneers’ draft process for the past several years before being hired by the Raiders earlier this year.
Recently, Spytek noted to reporters that he loves draft offensive lineman. The Raiders have nine draft picks with pressing needs at other positions.
But this trend shows the chances of the Raiders taking an offensive linemen in the first two rounds can’t be discounted.
