NFL Media analyst thinks so
This is the time of year when NFL analysts make their predictions for players who will jump on the scene in the upcoming season and according to Peter Schrager of NFL Media, Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Malcolm Koonce is exactly one of those players.
Koonce, a fourth-year player, recently made Schrager’s top 10 list of NFL players who he believes is primed to break out in the 2024 NFL season. Here is Schrager’s list:

While it’s cool that Koonce is getting love on the national level, but, frankly, I think Koonce has already broken out.
He was a star toward the end of last season. Koonce, who had a total of two sacks in his first two NFL seasons after being a third-round pick out of Buffalo, had a total of eight sacks alst seoans with six of them coming in the final four games.
Koonce sacked Kansas City superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes three times in a nationally-televised game on Christmas Day in a Raiders’ upset win at Arrowhead Stadium.
Koonce, a free agent after this season, is only getting better and he will benefit from playing on the same line as Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins.
So, while the attention is nice, Koonce has already arrived in my mind..
