Wide receiver was an underrated need for the Raiders heading into this year’s draft. Truth is they are severely lacking depth at the position. And since it’s hard to know exactly how the draft will go, you tend to hold off on some additions until after you see how things play out.
The Raiders didn’t get any receivers in the draft, so immediately afterward, they snapped up former Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup.

Gallup spent the past six seasons in Dallas and put up some decent numbers with the Cowboys. Including over 1000 yards receiving and six touchdowns in 2019.
He enters the Raiders receiver room as the third or fourth receiver on the depth chart, giving him a very good chance of not only making the team, but seeing a good amount of reps as well behind starters Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.
The 6-1, 198-pound Gallup is still just 28 years of age.
