He was released by the Giants on Tuesday. He was a fourth-round pick of the Giants in 2020 when Raiders’ defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was the Giants’ defensive coordinator.

All offseason it appeared that the Las Vegas Raiders were a little light at the cornerback position and it was likely a need area.
Now, 11 days before the season opener at the Los Angeles Chargers, it is abundantly clear that the Raiders are in need of a player at the position and they will likely make a move soon.
Wednesday, the Raiders cut seventh-round pick, M.J. Devonshire and put veteran cornerback Brandon Facyson on the injured reserve. He must miss, at least, four games.
The Raiders have just four cornerbacks on the roster — Starters Jack Jones and Jakorian Bennett, nickel Nate Hobbs and rookie, fourth-round pick Decamerion Richardson. They also have an open roster spot.
So, that heavily points to them adding a veteran at the position for reliable depth immediately.
Among the cornerbacks who were cut Tuesday were Bobby McCain (Minnesota Vikings), Desmond King (Houston Texans), Darnay Holmes (New York Giants), Caleb Farley (Tennessee Titans), Justin Hardee (Cleveland), former Raider Rock Ya-Sin (San Francisco 49ers), and Adrian Colbert (Chicago Bears).
Veterans such as Xavien Howard, Adoree Jackson, Patrick Peterson and Ahkello Witherspoon have been available all offseason and remain on the market as the Raiders ramp up their search at the position.
