Veteran quarterback can improvise, but he is also making some mistakes in training camp
The Las Vegas Raiders have had just four days of training camp practices.
Of course, the battle to be the starting quarterback between incumbent Aidan O’Connell and veteran free-agent addition Gardner Minshew has been a main focal point of the practices.
There is still a long way to go before the team’s brass makes a decision. The team has most of training camp and the three preseasons games, which begin August 10 at the Minnesota Vikings, before making a decision at the position.
Minshew can scramble and make plays under pressure more than AOC. But that has backfired at times. Feel like Getsy was talking to him today. pic.twitter.com/x0aA0q4t4j

While it is early, Minshew, a journeyman who started 13 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season, has been making some mistakes and throwing some interceptions while trying to make something happen in training camp thus far.
Minshew has a lot of moxie and he can move in an attempt to makes plays. Yet, it has bit him some so far. Meanwhile, O’Connell, who is less mobile than Minshew, has been more steady because he hasn’t tried to do too much
While Minshew’s style of the play opens up possibilities, but it also is risky.
Do you think this will cost Minshew the job or do you think his wild nature will exactly be a benefit to the offense during the season?
