Raiders add depth to the WR room with Michele Gallup
The Las Vegas Raiders are done with their draft work, adding eight players to the roster. While they filled holes at certain positions, depth issues occurred in a few positions.
One is wide receiver, whereas the Raiders only have three players with receptions in their careers. It seemed they would add more players, which happened on Monday.

Tom Telesco made the call to sign former Cowboys WR Michael Gallup. Gallup has dealt with injuries after breaking out in 2019 with a 1000-yard season. However, he is needed as a deep threat to the offense that wins on-go routes outside.
Gallup should be the X receiver behind Davante Adams. He could move Jakobi Meyers to his natural position in specific personnel groupings, the slot. Since the Raiders added Brock Bowers, there will be a lot of 12 personnel. When they go into 11 Gallup, they can become a weapon on the field.
