A couple of Las Vegas’ starters went down while practicing in Los Angeles, both appear to be leg injuries
The Las Vegas Raiders have been holding joint practices with the Los Angeles Rams over the past couple of days. Intensity is always heightened when two teams get to square off against each other, making these practices more interesting, but the downside is that also means the risk for injury increases. Unfortunately for the Raiders, the latter became a reality as starting linebacker Nicholas Morrow and starting guard Richie Incognito suffered injuries in today’s practice.
Jesse Merrick of KSNV News 3 Las Vegas reported that Morrow went down and would eventually limp off the field under his own power. For a moment, it appeared as if the linebacker wouldn’t be able to walk off the field on his own as Vic Tafur of The Athletic tweeted a picture of the Rams’ training staff getting the cart ready. So, it’s good to hear that Morrow ended up leaving on his own two feet, even if it was gingerly.

As for Incognito, The Athletic’s Tashan Reed said the guard came off the field limping but under his own power. Reed also noted that it wasn’t clear what happened to Incognito, but it looks like he tweaked something in his lower leg.
Neither Morrow nor Incognito returned to practice, but the Raiders did leave early as a huge fight broke out shortly after these injuries were announced. More on that to come later.
Silver and Black Pride will continue to monitor Morrow’s and Incognito’s injuries and provide updates as they become available.
