Las Vegas wants to interview Chargers’ front-office executive
The Las Vegas Raiders have started to request interviews for the general manager openings. They have requested to talk to Jon-Eric Sullivan, Jon Spytek, Sheldon White, Brandon Brown and Chad Alexander.
Let’s get to know Alexander some more:
Current job:
Alexander is the assistant general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers, a position he has held since 2024.
Age:
49
Front-office experience:
He has 26 years of NFL experience. He was in the Baltimore Ravens’ front office for 20 years, starting in 1999, as an area scout, pro scout and as a personnel assistant. He then was the New York Jets director of player personnel from 2019-23.
Playing career:
He played at Wake Forest.
Football family:
His father, the late Hubbard Alexander, was a successful assistant coach in the college ranks at Miami and then with the Dallas Cowboys as a wide receiver coach. He won two national championships and three Super Bowl rings. He was a key part of Jimmy Johnson’s staffs at both spots.
Raiders’ interest:
Alexander is highly respected and he has a ton of NFL experience.
