Could Brock Bowers’ college quarterback be answer for Las Vegas?
The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to try to draft a quarterback in 2025.
But it may not be easy to get a top prospect as the Raiders are currently slotted to draft at No. 8 and they reportedly can’t choose higher than No. 4 nor lower than No. 10.
So, they have to get creative. They could maybe trade up in the draft to get a targeted quarterback or they could try to sign a veteran in free agency or trade for a quarterback.
So, they could take a quarterback alter in the draft.
That’s where Carson Beck could come in. The Georgia quarterback declared for the NFL draft. Beck suffered an elbow injury that ended his college career, but he should recover for next year.
Beck wasn’t considered a top prospect prior to his injury and he had an up-and-down 2024 season. But he was a considered a prime prospect after a strong 2023 season which featured tight end Brock Bowers, who, of course, is a star for the Raiders.
A Beck-Bowers reunion could be appealing for the Raiders in the future and he could give them another options in 2025 if they have interest.
