New offensive coordinator will bring creativity the team has been missing
The Las Vegas Raiders hired Chip Kelly as their offensive coordinator this week to revitalize the offense. Kelly will be coming off a year during which he helped Ohio State become National Champions.
Kelly has been in the NFL before and had success early on but started to slow down, leading him back to college. He went to UCLA and turned that program around, making them a competitor in the Pac-12. Now, he is joining the Raiders and hoping to rebuild his reputation in the NFL, similar to Kliff Kingsbury with the Washington Commanders.
What Kelly brings to the table is creativity in the running game and the passing game. The former UCLA head coach pays great attention to detail in his offense, which helps him attack the defense’s weaknesses. It has a chance to catch teams off guard and lead to the Raiders being explosive on offense.
The video below is an in-depth look into the offense that Kelly will bring the Silver and Black. Check it out below and let us know your thoughts on his offense.
