When was the moment you knew it was trouble?
2024 is all but over.
It will not be remembered kindly when it comes to the history of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The year started with so much promise as Raiders’ players and fans alike got their wish and Antonio Pierce was promoted from being the interim head coach to being the full-time head coach in January. This team was confident and expected to improve from their 8-9 record from a year ago.
Yet, it didn’t happen. The season has been long lost and has been a big disappointment. As we close out the year, when want to know when you knew this season was doomed?
Here are your choices:
- A Week 1 22-10 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers
- A Week 3 home-opening blowout loss to the Carolina Panthers and backup Andy Dalton after Carolina was awful in the first two games of the season.
- A Week 5 loss at the Denver Broncos in which a big lead turned into giving Denver all the momentum when Patrick Surtain turned a Gardner Minshew interception from a Raiders’ touchdown into a Pick Six. It started a huge losing streak for the Raiders.
