McQueen is quickly rising in the coaching ranks. The former Texas A&M QB was a graduate assistant just two years ago. He spent five years as a graduate assistant, first at UCLA under Raiders new OC Chip Kelly. Then he took the same position under Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma, and moved with him to USC.
In 2023, at the age of 29, McQueen was named the OC at Incarnate Word and last year helped lead the school to become the second ranked offense in the nation at the FCS level.
Just nine days ago, McQueen was posting a video on Youtube detailing some of his concepts at UIW.
The Raiders new wide receivers coach is Chris Beatty, who has been coaching wide receivers at the NFL level for the past five seasons with the Chargers and Bears and who was promoted to interim OC last season in Chicago.
McQueen should offer some valuable insight in the room for the Raiders receivers to utilize to help them manipulate defenses.
