More fans are nervous about Sanders’ combo in Las Vegas than not
The NFL offseason is a month away, yet we’ve already hit silly season in the league.
There has been rumors for weeks that Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his father and Colorado head coach, Deion Sanders could be joining the NFL in 2025 together and be on the same team. Thus, a team could hire Sanders as head coach with the hopes of pairing his son with him.
While it’s for certain the Raiders need a quarterback, but it’s unclear if the team will want to part ways from head coach Antonio Pierce after one season.
Also, the is no guarantee any team that hires Deion Sanders will be able to draft Shedeur unless they have the No. 1 pick.
We recently asked our readers if they would like to see the Sanders’ father-son package end up with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025. We had 1,356 votes cast in the poll.
Fifty-five percent of the voters (752 votes) believe a Sanders’ package deal wouldn’t work for the Raiders, while 45 percent (604 voters) believe it would be a good idea,
I was surprised, yes votes didn’t win. But, I admit, I agree with the majority. The Raiders need low-risk on their next big moves and I think this package deal would come with some risks, although it would be wildly interesting.
