Raiders new head coach Pete Carroll has a lot of coaches with whom he worked during his 14 years at the helm in Seattle. So, when searching for members of his staff with whom he’s familiar, there is a large bank of talent from which to choose.
Carroll already brought in his son Brennan to be the team’s offensive line coach. Now the old ball coach has added Andy Dickerson who was his OL coach his final two seasons in Seattle, to be the team’s assistant offensive line coach.

While Pete was away from football last season, Dickerson was the offensive line coach in Cleveland.
During Dickerson’s one season in Cleveland, the Browns had one of the worst offenses in the league. In fact, in the last three years of Dickerson as an OL coach in Seattle and Cleveland, he never had a running attack better than 30th in the league. Which would explain why he is back to being an assistant OL coach, the job he held for nine years with the Rams (2012-20).
