Defensive coordinator is a free agent
It hasn’t taken long for Patrick Graham’s foray into coaching free agency to pay off.
Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator, whose three-year contract has expired, has received two interview requests. More will likely come.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Graham is on their list of head-coaching candidates and NFL Media reported the Cincinnati Bengals plan to interview Graham for their open defensive coordinator position.

For what it’s worth, the speculation is that Jacksonville would prefer a offensive-minded head coach. But the fact that Graham is getting fast interest and he is apparently open to other coordinators jobs may be an indication he will be on the move from Las Vegas.
Last year, Graham interviewed for the head-coaching jobs with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks.
Monday, Raiders coach Antonio Pierce said he wasn’t planning any changes to his staff, but Graham may force that issue.
