There are some potential draft gems out there

We, of course, are just six days from the start of the 2025 NFL draft, which round April 24-26.

We’ve been digging into all aspects of the draft here at Silver and Black Pride, so it made sense that he dedicated this week’s Tuesday Community Question to the draft. So, we asked our community members, who is their favorite draft sleeper that the Las Vegas Raiders could select next week.

I was impressed by your responses and it shows that you’re all doing your homework and paying attention to this draft class. There are some names here ( I really like Nick Nash and Nohl Williams) that I think make perfect sense for the Raiders. So, well done, all.

After only watching one team all season – I can only pick a Hurricane so I’ll go with…

UM RB Damien Martinez

Haven’t seen anybody talk about him at all, but apparently he’s listed as a 2nd round prospect. Don’t know if that makes him a sleeper or not. But if he’s still there in round 3 and we haven’t picked an RB – take him.

Totally agree, I’ve been pushing Martinez for weeks. This kids a stud, not super fast, but at 225 he runs over everybody in front of him. 3rd and short, and inside the red zone he’s able to pound it in the EZ. Part of a RB by Committee!

I’ll go with Nick Nash, WR out of SJSU. Nash earned Unanimous All-American, and First-Team All-Mountain-West honors for his one of a kind season. Nash controversially lost the 2024 Fred Biletnikoff Award to Colorado’s Travis Hunter despite being the NCAA receiving triple crown winner.

CB from Cal, Nohl Williams. Maybe a pick in the 4th. The only question mark I have is maybe his lack of top end speed to keep up with some WRs.

Not exactly an unknown, but I think Jalen Milroe with some good coaching will be a better NFL QB than most people think.
