Diving into how the first round unfolds within the division
The 2024 NFL Draft is finally here! Below you can find every pick for the AFC West from Day 1 of the draft as our tracker will be updated after each selection for the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers during the first round.
Our tracker is sponsored by DraftKings Sportsbook where you can bet on different outcomes from the draft like how many quarterbacks will be taken tonight as the line is set at 4.5. However, the under is a +350 bet and the odds for the over is -500, at the time of writing.
Also available on DraftKings are head-to-head draft matchups. For example, you can bet on which quarterback will be drafted first between Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix. That bet could have some significant AFC West ties as the Raiders and Broncos have been tied to those two during the draft process.
Chargers, Pick 5: OT Joe Alt, Notre Dame
To no surprise, Jim Harbaugh addresses the trenches with his first pick as the head coach in Los Angeles. The question is will Alt switch to the right side or Rashawn Slater?

Broncos, Pick 12: QB Bo Nix, Oregon
Denver gets a new quarterback and all but ensures Las Vegas won’t get one by taking the sixth one off the board in the first round.

Raiders, Pick 13: TE Brock Bowers, Georgia
In a huge surprise, the best tight end in the draft is heading to Las Vegas. What that means for Michael Mayer remains unseen, but the Raiders get a playmaker.

Chiefs, Pick 28 (from BUF): WR Xavier Worthy, Texas
Kansas City sent picks 32, 95 and 221 to Buffalo for 28, 133 and 248, according to Ian Rapoport. The Chiefs ended up addressing their need at wide receiver with the wideout who set the record for the fastest 40-yard-dash at the NFL Combine.
With the No. 28 pick that they acquired from the Bills, the Chiefs selected Texas WR Xavier Worthy, who ran the fastest 40 in scouting combine history. https://t.co/hgItgDbW0S
