Quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Jared Goff put on a show for us in the NFC Championship Game this past week and they had all the respect in the world for one-another after the final whistle.
Video of the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions quarterbacks meeting at the field has been released and gone viral for the show of respect they gave each other during the postgame handshake.
“Love what you stand for,” Goff said. “Good luck. Appreciate you, bud.”
Fans are praising Goff for showing so much respect to the quarterback who beat him on Sunday:

“If there’s anything we’re gonna do here it’s respect the Lions (sans CJGJ),” one user declared.
“Love it. Goff is awesome too,” a 49ers fan replied.
Goff went 25 of 41 for 273 yards and a touchdown in the 34-31 loss to the 49ers.
Purdy went 20 of 31 for 267 yards and a touchdown with 48 rushing yards in the win.
It was a disappointing blown lead for Goff and the Lions who are still waiting for their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. But for Purdy, a trip to the Super Bowl await.
Do you think Goff is rooting for Purdy and the 49ers?
