Super Bowl LVIII is 12 days away and a lot of bits and pieces of information are going to slowly trickle in leading up to the big game. But today we got to see what outfit the 49ers will be donning for the game.
In a new video on X, the 49ers showed off what star running back Christian McCaffrey’s uniform is going to look like in the Super Bowl. Since the 49ers are the designated visiting team, it’s going to be white as their primary color.
Above the heart is the purple and red Super Bowl LVIII logo.
Many 49ers fans are thrilled while some others are complaining that the team’s classic bold lettering should have been used to honor their historic past instead.

“I still can’t believe it! I’m so excited gonna be the longest 2 weeks ever,” one user replied.
“Wish we where wearing the red but letsssss goooooooo !!!! Yeeeee,” wrote another.
“bro wear the throwbacks and pay the fines,” a third asked.
The San Francisco 49ers last won a Super Bowl back in Super Bowl XXIX when Steve Young led them to a 49-26 win over the San Diego Chargers. Since then they’ve been to two more Super Bowls but lost both of them.
Will the 49ers win their sixth in franchise history?
