The uniform matchup for Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers has officially been set.
Kansas City will wear its red uniforms for the biggest game of the season. San Francisco, meanwhile, will wear its white uniforms.
Action Network’s Evan Abrams interestingly pointed out that 16 of the last 19 Super Bowl winners have worn white jerseys.
Last year, the Chiefs wore their white uniforms in their 38-35 win over the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. Patrick Mahomes led the charge with 182 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Unfortunately for the 49ers, they’re one of the three teams that have lost in white uniforms. Ironically, they fell short to Mahomes and the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.

With that said, the Chiefs aren’t going to worry about their uniforms for Super Bowl LVIII, nor should they. They’ve proven time and time again they’ll rise to the occasion when the lights are bright.
The same goes for the 49ers. The last thing on their mind is a statistic about Super Bowl uniforms. All they care about is getting revenge in Las Vegas.
