Playoff Lamar is a thing. Will it be today?
Arguably, the best rivalry in the sport takes place in Baltimore as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Ravens had little issue putting the Steelers away in the previous matchup, winning by three possessions, and the game wasn’t that close. But don’t forget about the first time these two teams met when the Steelers upset Baltimore at home 18-16.
If Mike Tomlin can work his voodoo, this might be the biggest upset of these playoffs. I like the Steelers tonight, but whether they pull off the upset is a different story. But Russell Wilson should do. enough offensively to keep Pittsburgh competitive.
Jackson is the new MVP favorite in the betting markets. He’s had an exceptional year. He’s been much maligned in the playoffs. This time around, he has Derrick Henry to assist him. If the Ravens can block, it’ll be a long night for a Steelers secondary that’s short-handed.
I’m not sure they’ll be able to, and this feels like it’ll be a close call that unexpectedly goes down to the wire.
