These two have win-loss records that are mirror images of each other.
Tonight, we have a divisional game on Thursday Night Football. Don’t get too excited, though. It’s the AFC East, and the Cleveland Browns are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers.
When I watch this rivalry, I remember the incident five years ago where defensive lineman Myles Garrett weaponized a helmet and went after then-Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph. Since then, there’s been a few highlights, but none to that memory.
Tonight, may not have anything to highlight. The Steelers are 8-2, while the Browns are the opposite of that record (2-8). The Browns have been having all sorts of issues, as the Browns typically have, and guessing that tonight could be anything different is wishful thinking.
Cleveland has won eight straight games when playing at home on Thursday, so that stat might help place your bets, but let’s not kid ourselves here. The Steelers have been having a good season; the Browns, not so much.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Steelers favored by 3.5 points. I’m taking the Steelers to cover this spread. The Browns are a mess, and their last three losses were seven points or more. Yes, they have a win over the Baltimore Ravens, but their only other win this season is the Jacksonville Jaguars. This has Steelers all over it. The over-under is set at 36.5 points. I’ll take this over and think the Steelers will have fun on their Cleveland trip.
