There could be something on the verge as multiple teams are viewing 49ers All-Pro Brandon Aiyuk in a potential trade. As it stands, the San Francisco 49ers are not pleased with Aiyuk since he missed the rest of the 2024 campaign with a season-ending injury. Last offseason, the wide receiver made it difficult to extend Aiyuk as he had several interests from teams for a trade in 2024 and the 49ers could pick up the offer this time around. Originally selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft, the former Arizona State product became a worthy pass catcher alongside Deebo Samuel for Brock Purdy’s offense.
Aiyuk did admit he made a little more difficult for the 49ers but that is probably too late. Star wideout Deebo Samuel will part ways whether it’s through a trade or release this offseason. This means it puts the organization to think about and reflect what they’re going to do next. While 49ers were able to meet Aiyuk’s demand, there’s no guarantee that Aiyuk could replicate the same energy in San Francisco. After a disastrous 2024 season, Aiyuk wasn’t able to stay healthy so it looks like it was a contract the 49ers could regret in the future.
It doesn’t help that they need to figure out a way to give quarterback Brock Purdy a worthy deal but after missing time too, the 49ers could wait as well. However, the 49ers should listen to the offers closely and consider all options on the table.

SHOCKING: “Multiple Teams” Viewing 49ers All-Pro Brandon Aiyuk in Trade – Possibly Leaving?
Next 3 Potential Teams
Washington Commanders
The trade would make sense for both sides. Brandon Aiyuk has a strong history with Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels back in college when both of them were apart of the Sundevils. Daniels has done handsomely well for the Commanders as a rookie throwing for 2,943 yards and 17 touchdowns with just two interceptions. However, the dream campaign to the Super Bowl came to an end in the NFC Championship Game against the Eagles but the Commanders have a special landscape that’s building under new ownership.
According to several reports, the team are working towards finding a WR2 to pair with Terry McLaurin. Meanwhile, Daniels was dependent on veteran tight end Zach Ertz for the majority of pass catchers while Noah Brown and Olamide Zaccheaus had their moments. They need an upgrade the position and Aiyuk could help lead the Commanders to their first Super Bowl appearance in decades.
Los Angeles Chargers
However, the Los Angeles Chargers need a pass catcher in the worst way. Quentin Johnston had another underperforming season so it’s hard to imagine he’ll be the start this year. The good news is that they have at least one reliable weapon in Ladd McConkey to help Justin Herbert’s pass game. Aiyuk could carve out a role in the Chargers offense as their new permanent No. 1 receiver and improve the odds of heading back for an AFC Championship Game.
Baltimore Ravens
This destination seems unlikely but in this league it’s safe to say “never say never.” The Diontae Johnson experiment was a failure while the Ravens offense had to survive the postseason without Zay Flowers. Baltimore have yet to find a third wideout to assist Flowers and Rashod Bateman since the release of Odell Beckham Jr. last offseason. Perhaps, they could pull off a trade and bring in Aiyuk on a new contract to pair with Flowers in the deep route attack while Bateman moves over as their slant pass catcher.
