A 2-9 team can always be deadly. But this is the Chiefs we’re talking about here.
And the holiday blitz begins. Today is the Black Friday game on Prime Video, and the Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Las Vegas Raiders.
You should know what to expect here between these two at this point in the season, but I’ll let Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce describe what this game is:
“Let’s call a spade a spade, right? Best team in football against the worst team in football. Let’s change the narrative, all right? Let’s make it a dog fight, let’s make it ugly, let’s make it scrappy. It’s Black Friday. Let’s create a little chaos, let’s get back to Raider football, have some fun, some personality, win or lose.”
Ok, that’s the coach of the Raiders calling his team the worst team in football. That’s…something. The Raiders are a mess. Yes, they have won against the Baltimore Ravens, all the way back in Week 2. They have a win against the Cleveland Browns, and that’s it. A road of L’s defines the rest of that journey.
And it certainly doesn’t help them when they have the Chiefs, who have only lost a single game (to the Buffalo Bills). With that 2-9 record, the Raiders could be considered “dangerous,” but we’ve seen how these Chiefs games go; they find a way to win.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chiefs favored by 12.5 points. Yikes! Now, that is a point spread. But I’m crazy; give me the Raiders and the points. They have nothing to lose and could make things complicated for the Chiefs. The Chiefs will win this, but maybe the Raiders can keep it within 10. As far as the over/under of 42.5. I’m not even touching that thing. If you want a recommendation, go for the over to cover your bets in case the Raiders can’t play a close game.
