The Vikings and Packers face off in a potential playoff matchup.
If you’re wondering why there wasn’t a morning thread, it’s difficult to convince you to watch Mac Jones and the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Tennessee Titans and Mason Rudolph. The morning slate was consistent with those types of matchups.
There wasn’t an intriguing game on the slate during the morning, but that changes this afternoon. And no, we are not talking about the Tua-less Miami Dolphins taking on the Cleveland Browns.
The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings were flexed into the afternoon spot. Jordan Love and Sam Darnold take center stage. The Vikings beat Green Bay the first time, but Matt LaFleur has been dominant in the second half of seasons, and 2024 will be no different.
The Packers are 0-4 against the best teams they’ve faced. So, acting like this week would be any different might feel like a fool’s gold, especially with field-stretching wide receiver Christian Watson out and Jaire Alexander still sidelined.
This game feels like it’ll come down to which quarterback will make more plays because both defenses should make the opposition one-dimensional. I’ll take Jordan Love.
