On Tuesday afternoon a new video of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance had the football world talking.
The video showed Lance back on the practice field with a seemingly different delivery. According to one 49ers reporter the former No. 3 overall pick has been working on his mechanics.
“Trey lance fixed his mechanics,” 49ers reporter Grant Cohn tweeted.

It’s been an interesting career for Lance thus far. He sat behind Jimmy Garoppolo for his rookie season before suffering a season-ending injury in the second game of his sophomore season.
Not long later rumors emerged suggesting he could get traded before the 2023 season kicks off.
“First of all, this kind of goes without saying, to have the No. 3 overall pick end up being the potential third-string quarterback on your roster is awkward,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport said. “And at some point there is more value out there in trading him than there is in keeping him on the roster. There’s going to be some team – and maybe in August… if someone loses a quarterback, maybe Trey Lance is better on another roster.”
We’ll have to wait and see if Lance can win the starting role and live up to the hype before he was drafted.
