Los Angeles is charging more for a parking pass for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game than for a ticket to get into the game.
Arash Makazi reported on Monday that one ticket broker thought that on-site parking passes might be more expensive than the cheapest ticket for the game.
I just talked to a ticket broker who is now selling parking passes. “I never thought I’d say this on Monday but I think by kickoff, on-site parking passes at SoFi Stadium might be more expensive than the cheapest ticket to the NFC Championship Game.”

It turns out he was right. The cheapest ticket for Sunday’s game is $550 while the parking pass is listed at $600.
This ended up being true:
The get-in price for the Rams-49ers NFC Championship Game is around $550. The price of an on-site parking pass at SoFi Stadium is at least $600. Some are charging double that price for a non-tailgating, on-site parking pass. https://t.co/3V5E3OOue0

It’s unknown if this is to keep 49ers fans from coming to the game, but it’s still crazy that parking is more expensive than a ticket.
The 49ers will look to beat the Rams for a third time this season, plus win their seventh in a row for this series. McVay hasn’t been able to solve Shanahan the last few years but he’s going to have to if the Rams are to return to the Super Bowl.
The Rams are also trying to be just the second team in NFL history to play in the Super Bowl on their home field.
Tampa Bay did it last year at Raymond James Stadium and ended up blowing out Kansas City, 31-9.
Kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
