Can the rookie keep it close against the veteran?
The Detroit Lions having reeled of nine straight wins. They have the highest point differential in the NFL at +177, and have looked dominant whether on the road or at home. The Lions were lucky to retain coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn during the offseason. They won’t be as fortunate this offseason.
The Chicago Bears are on the opposite end of the spectrum, as they’ve lost five in a row, are 4-7, and are 0-5 on the road and 0-2 in the division. Still, they have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, and have been competitive in most of their games.
Today, Caleb Williams, D.J. Moore, Cole Kmet, and the Bears offense look to keep pace with Jared Goff, Jameson Williams, the two-headed running backs for Detroit, and Sam LaPorta.
Detroit will likely win because they beat everybody, but the Bears have the ammunition to score and keep pace with the Lions.
