Drew Lock will take on Cooper Rush
We’re forced to watch the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. Well, not really. Now is the time to eat with your family, play games, and get away from the sport of football.
I promise, you don’t have to watch Drew Lock and Cooper Rush today. Dallas is favored by 4 or 4.5 points. Nobody in their right mind would think Rush is deserving of a favorite of any kind, let alone a favorite. But we’re talking about Lock, a quarterback who hasn’t thrown more than ten passes this season.
Dallas will be without Trevon Diggs. Perhaps it’s a game where Lock can lean on Malik Nabers, the rookie who has flashed all year and is averaging 74.6 receiving yards per game, despite a carousel of quarterbacks. Brian Daboll against Mike Zimmer is a matchup that should favor Daboll, but it comes back to how Lock can execute and if he’s accurate.
