Maybe Miami can get back on track
Good evening, and happy Thanksgiving to all of you—or whatever you are celebrating/doing, etc., this Thursday. The slate of football ends tonight with the Miami Dolphins traveling to face the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers don’t need an introduction. The San Francisco 49ers left Lambeau Field on Sunday after getting thumped by the Packers 38-10. The Packer’s offense had its way with the 49ers, regardless of whether it was by talent or mental mistakes.
The Dolphins are on a three-game winning streak. One of those wins is the Los Angeles Rams. The other two are the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders. One of those is not like the other two. They sit at 5-6 and have a decent schedule the rest of the way. The Packers aren’t ideal, but they get the New York Jets twice, the Cleveland Browns once, and our 49ers. A win over the Packers would help their credibility because all of their wins have been over teams without winning records.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Packers favored by 3.5 points. I have no problem taking the Packers here, even with 3.5 points. That offense can blow up quickly, and I don’t think the Dolphins can keep up. The over-under is set at 47.5. Take the under on this. I do believe the Packers get out ahead, but given how cold it is there on a November evening, I figure the running game for both teams will come into play.
