We have Texas against Clemson in the third college football playoff game.
We’ve had two College Football Playoff games, and both have been stinkers. The Indiana Hoosiers didn’t score a touchdown until the third quarter against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish en route to a 27-17 loss.
The ACC saw two teams make the playoffs. SMU only belonged because the committee doesn’t watch the games and thinks 11 wins was all that matters. The Mustangs never stood a shot against Penn State, and the scoreboard proved that to be true after a 38-10 win.
Now, the ACC gets its second chance. And they’re off to a much better start as Clemson scored on its opening drive to take an early 7-0 run. Kyle Shanahan’s Alma Mater, the University of Texas, is a popular pick to win the National Championship.
Despite being down early, they should limit Clemson moving forward and get enough stops before winning 28-14. Enjoy the game, everyone.
