There wasn’t much question about what the San Francisco 49ers needed to do Sunday when they visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 49ers were 4-4 and getting healthy coming off their Bye week to face a beat up Buccaneers team coming off an overtime loss on the road to the Kansas City Chiefs. Losing Sunday’s game wasn’t really an option for a team that fancies itself a Super Bowl contender.
