What will you be looking for today?
The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Arizona Cardinals, with Josh Dobbs set to make his first career start for the Niners in place of the injured Brock Purdy.
Dobbs won’t have Deebo Samuel, but he’ll have George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall. The defense will look to get after Kyler Murray, as Nick Bosa and Leonard Floyd hope to continue their respective sack streaks.
Murray needs 50 rushing yards and a touchdown to trigger a couple of roster bonuses, so he’ll be on the run early and often against a 49ers defense that he ran all over the last time these two teams played.
It’ll be entertaining to see Dobbs get his collegiate teammate in Jennings over 1,000 yards. I wouldn’t expect to see much of Kittle.
Let’s hope every player sets the records they need and every player gets out of this game healthy.
