The San Francisco 49ers just made one of the easiest decisions they’ll make all year.
Fans are awaiting some news on the Jimmy Garoppolo situation. The 49ers, in the meantime, are locking up one of their key offensive players.
On Thursday the 49ers reportedly picked up fullback Kyle Juszczyk‘s option. That’ll keep him with the 49ers through the 2025 season.
One of the NFL’s top fullbacks will make $3.775 million in 2022 and an additional $1.25 million fully guaranteed in 2023.

“Juice is the first of many,” Niners Nation tweeted. “Arik Armstead, George Kittle, Emmanuel Moseley, Trent Williams, Alex Mack, Dee Ford, and Nick Bosa are all due some type of roster bonus/salary guarantee on April 1. Expect more announcements for the 49ers.”

This is a big offseason for the 49ers. Most importantly, fans are waiting to hear what the team plans to do with Jimmy Garoppolo. It’s been relatively quiet on that front.
