The 49ers were awarded 4 comp picks in the 2025 NFL Draft
The San Francisco 49ers were awarded the following compensatory draft picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft:
Round 3, 100th overall – This pick comes from Ran Carthon/DeMeco Ryans
Round 4, 138th overall – Over the Cap has both Chase Young and Sam Darnold listed. So this fourth-rounder is from one of those two players signing a lucrative contract last season.
Round 7, 249th overall
Round 7, 252nd overall
The seventh-round comp picks come from the contract Ray-Ray McCloud signed with the Atlanta Falcons. The second one is unclear. That pick is either coming from Clelein Ferrell or Charlie Woerner’s contract from a year ago.
Here is their full list of projected picks for the upcoming draft for the Niners once you include the recent comp picks they were awarded:
Round 1, Pick 11
Round 2, Pick 43
Round 3, Pick 75
Round 3, Pick 100 (Compensatory)
Round 4, Pick 112
Round 4, Pick 138 (Compensatory)
Round 5, Pick 148 (via Washington)
Round 6, Pick 189
Round 7, Pick 228 (via Carolina)
Round 7, Pick 247 (Compensatory)
Round 7, Pick 255 (Compensatory)
San Francisco has plenty of ammunition to move around in the upcoming NFL Draft if they feel a player they value falls to them.
With four picks in the top 100 and three more in the top 150, San Francisco has no excuse but to replenish the talent in the trenches. They’ll need to fill out their depth chart with the majority of their picks, so I wouldn’t expect too many trades.
