Shaw is known for being the head coach at Stanford from 2011-22. During his 12 years at the helm, he led Stanford to five 10+ win seasons and three appearances in the Rose Bowl.
He also led Stanford to a berth in the Fiesta Bowl and finished his tenure with a 96-54 record.
His tenure ended after Stanford only won three games last season and just six games over the last two seasons.
The Raiders will be looking for a new full-time head coach once the 2023 season ends after they fired Josh McDaniels on Halloween.
