Former Stanford head coach David Shaw has landed a new gig for the 2023 football season.
It was announced Tuesday that Shaw will be an analyst for NFL Network.
Per NFL Network’s press release, Shaw will appear on various studio shows this fall. He’ll be an integral part of “NFL GameDay Live,” which airs each Sunday during the season at 1 p.m. ET.
Shaw, 51, was Stanford’s head coach from 2011-2022. He won the Rose Bowl twice during his time with the Cardinal and became the all-time wins leader in program history.
Even though Shaw has been on the sidelines for the past decade, he should have no trouble adjusting to life as an analyst. For the past 10 years, he would help out NFL Network with its draft coverage.
