Draymond Green’s emotions got the best of him early in Wednesday night’s game.
The Golden State Warriors forward got ejected less than four minutes into a matchup against the Orlando Magic. Green received two technical fouls for arguing with officials about a personal foul called against Stephen Curry.
Curry looked disappointed in his longtime teammate’s latest ejection.
After Green got tossed, Curry paced the court while repeatedly shaking his head. He clapped his hands in frustration before pulling his jersey over his face.

It’s a troubling recurring pattern for Green, who received his fourth ejection this season. With 21 career ejections, the 34-year-old is approaching Rasheed Wallace’s NBA record of 29.
Green has also gotten suspended twice this season. He sat out five games for putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock and later got sidelined 12 games for hitting Jusuf Nurkić.
Another dicey moment occurred Tuesday night when Green wrapped his arm around the neck of Miami Heat guard Patty Mills. He only received a common foul.
In December, Curry called Green’s aggression “a blessing and a curse.” Green recalled the message he received from the two-time MVP.
“Steph just said to me, ‘Listen, you’re going to do what you do because that’s your role. But we need your performance,'” Green told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. “‘But I’m not going to tell you how to be you because I can’t do that. I’m not going to tell you to change. Only going to tell you, whatever you have to do, we need you on the court. I need you on the court.'”
Every game is crucial for the Warriors, who are one game ahead of the Houston Rockets for the Western Conference’s final play-in spot. They’re currently leading the Magic early in the fourth quarter.
