Several NBA players and broadcasters, including TNT’s Ernie Johnson on Friday, Feb 14, will be stopping by for one-on-one chats and meet and greets throughout the weekend. Check it out!
Y’all remember when Baron Davis and crew had Oracle Arena feeling like the epicenter of basketball entertainment? Well, American Express and TNT are bringing that same energy to San Francisco for All-Star Weekend, and they’re doing it with the kind of extravagance that the Bay deserves. Last night they had Chance the Rapper performing at Pier 48, and the fun is just getting started folks!
The Amex Experience is located at 111 Powell Street. As part of its decade-long partnership with TNT Sports, Amex is bringing Card Members and fans inside Inside the NBA with a behind-the-scenes experience and interactive touch points, like a Big Board Race, a Who He Play For Station, and more. From February 14-16 (11 AM – 6 PM daily), American Express is essentially creating a three-story temple to basketball entertainment that is must see.

The legendary Ernie Johnson of TNT’s Inside the NBA (forever the point guard of basketball broadcasting) is blessing the Bay with his presence on Valentine’s Day February 14th with a fireside chat with young star Cade Cunningham. And let’s be real – if you’ve ever wanted to see the man who’s somehow managed to keep Shaq, Chuck, and Kenny from turning Inside the NBA into complete chaos, this is your chance.

This is the kind of activation that understands what makes NBA culture special. You’re getting the analysis, the entertainment, and the connection to local hoops heritage all in one spot. Just do yourself a favor and don’t challenge anyone to a Big Board Race unless you’ve been training like Steph running his pregame routine.

The space will be more packed than the Chase Center during a Finals game, so mark those calendars: February 14-16, 11 AM to 6 PM. See you there!
